Santa Monica Fertility provides individualized infertility treatment services for both men and women. There is a comprehensive range of services with everything from basic testing to gestational surrogacy available at our center.
Located in Southern California, the center provides fertility treatment to national and international patients, giving everyone the personalized attention they deserve.

There are phone consultations available for most visits including the initial visit. If you are from outside town, we can also coordinate with your local doctor. We will work with your doctor for testing results and medication information to minimize your travel.
- Accredited lab and surgical center
Our medical facility includes a state licensed accredited ambulatory surgical center. There is an egg freezing unit, an IVF laboratory and an andrology lab.

Since fertility treatments affect patients, physically and emotionally, we work with various local wellness practitioners to help our clients. These practitioners offer mind/body programs and complementary therapies to better cope with treatment challenges.
Doctors and Team
All our medical and non-medical staff at SMF bring a unique level of experience and commitment to help patients achieve their goals.
SMF is led by DR. John Jain who is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist. He has more than twenty years of academic and clinical experience to his credentials. His areas of expertise include early embryo development, egg freezing, embryo implantation and treating infertility in women of advanced age. He also specializes in egg donation, uterine receptivity and surrogacy.
Veronica Norris is the Director of Nursing at our surgical center. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and Public Health. Working with Ms. Norris are registered nurses Gabriela Madrigal, LaNesha Green and Crystal Benavides as Medical Assistant. Together this nursing team assists patients through the process of the treatment. Nurses help patients with cycle coordination, injections and medications.
Danielle R. Albini is an embryologist who manages all coordination and monitoring of egg freezing and retrievals. She works with Dr. Jing Chen in the lab who has a PhD in Reproductive Physiology.

Egg donation center at SMF
SMF also has an egg donation center on the premises. Through his work in this field, Dr. Jain is recognized internationally for his successful treatment in patients over the age of 45. He has helped many such women achieve pregnancy with frozen donor eggs.

At SMF we take pride in serving the LGBTQ community achieve their dream of building a family. Whether LGBTQ couples choose to have a child genetically related to one partner, or from donor sperm or egg, we can help.
Services for lesbian couples
- IUI using donor sperm
- IVF with one partner as the genetic mother
- Reciprocal IVF where one partner gives the egg and the other partner carries the pregnancy
- Donor sperm may be from a friend, relative or a sperm bank
Services for gay couples
Options for gay couple can include sperm from one partner with donor eggs. This enables them to have a genetically related child through surrogacy.
- Surrogacy through artificial insemination using the surrogates own eggs and one partner's sperm
- Surrogacy through IVF using donor eggs and one partner's sperm. The fertilized egg is inserted inside a surrogate mother with no genetic connection to the baby.
Preparing for your first visit
Getting started at SMF is easy and convenient for patients. For patients outside the Los Angeles area, the first consultation can be arranged over the phone. Dr. Jain and his staff will work with your own doctor for medical tests and history so you only need to come to our Santa Monica office to select the procedures.
When all preliminary concerns are covered, Dr. Jain will have a consultation with you via phone or skype. He will discuss all your available options and propose a treatment plan.
When you come in for your first visit, please make sure you have the following:
- Copies of previous medical records
- Payment for services in a timely manner
Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment should be with a 24 hour notice.
The center requires that all office visits, medications and procedure charges be paid in full at the time of service. If you have benefits as part of your insurance coverage, we will provide you with an itemized statement to submit to your insurer. You can use this for reimbursement after services have been delivered.
