There are phone consultations available for most visits including the initial visit. If you are from outside town, we can also coordinate with your local doctor. We will work with your doctor for testing results and medication information to minimize your travel.

• Accredited lab and surgical center

Our medical facility includes a state licensed accredited ambulatory surgical center. There is an egg freezing unit, an IVF laboratory and an andrology lab.

Doctors and Team

All our medical and non-medical staff at SMF bring a unique level of experience and commitment to help patients achieve their goals.SMF is led by DR. John Jain who is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist. He has more than twenty years of academic and clinical experience to his credentials. His areas of expertise include early embryo development, egg freezing, embryo implantation and treating infertility in women of advanced age. He also specializes in egg donation, uterine receptivity and surrogacy.Nursing Staff Veronica Norris is the Director of Nursing at our surgical center. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and Public Health. Working with Ms. Norris are registered nurses Gabriela Madrigal, LaNesha Green and Crystal Benavides as Medical Assistant. Together this nursing team assists patients through the process of the treatment. Nurses help patients with cycle coordination, injections and medications.EmbryologistsDanielle R. Albini is an embryologist who manages all coordination and monitoring of egg freezing and retrievals. She works with Dr. Jing Chen in the lab who has a PhD in Reproductive Physiology.

Preparing for your first visitGetting started at SMF is easy and convenient for patients. For patients outside the Los Angeles area, the first consultation can be arranged over the phone. Dr. Jain and his staff will work with your own doctor for medical tests and history so you only need to come to our Santa Monica office to select the procedures.When all preliminary concerns are covered, Dr. Jain will have a consultation with you via phone or skype. He will discuss all your available options and propose a treatment plan.When you come in for your first visit, please make sure you have the following:

• Copies of previous medical records
• Payment for services in a timely manner

Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment should be with a 24 hour notice.

The center requires that all office visits, medications and procedure charges be paid in full at the time of service. If you have benefits as part of your insurance coverage, we will provide you with an itemized statement to submit to your insurer.
