The veteran applicants must have service-connected infertility and use a SART clinic. They provide IVF funding for veterans who are same-sex couples or who require donor sperm, egg, or embryo, surrogate.

Number and Amount Of Grant Award

The number of grants available is highly variable based on how much the organization is able to raise. Each grant offers up to $10,000 in financial assistance. Any expense exceeding this amount is the participant’s responsibility.

Award Coverage

Nest Egg Foundation’s award will cover only IVF treatment. However, this definition of IVF is a bit broader. Treatment cycles, embryo transfers, cryopreservation, embryo testing, and any other costs regarding third-party IVF. The grant will only be available for use at RMACT, the CARS, and one of two Connecticut Centers of Excellence.

Application Fee and Eligibility

Participants must pay a fee of $25 at the time of application. Both the partners must be US citizens living in New York or Connecticut. A clinically-approved diagnosis for primary infertility (i.e., couples with no children) is required, except for same-sex couples and singles.

The participants’ annual family income should be less than $140,000 for couples and $85,000 for single people. There are some other clinical criteria available on their website.

NY State has created a series of grants to help reduce and manage the cost of IVF treatment. The program is open to residents of the state where patients can receive between 2.5 -97.5% off their treatment costs. Financial assistance also takes into account household income.

• Eligibility

Applicants need to reside in New York State where the program works with a series of fertility clinics. Applicants must be between ages 21 and 44 and have private health insurance. Qualifying for the program is also determined by an income threshold.

Number and Amount of Grant Award

There are two stages of grants. In the first stage, numerous discounts on clinics and services are available. The exact number varies. The second stage offers either a full cash grant or free-of-charge services at a local clinic.

Award Coverage

First stage grants will offer free or discounts on IVF, egg donation, and surrogacy from agencies, as well as on law firms. This grant may also cover complementary services such as medicines and insurance resources.

The second stage will offer either direct financial assistance or partnerships with agencies and clinics for free-of-charge services.

You need to be a member of the MHB before applying, as they don’t have to pay a processing fee. Stage-II candidates will have to self-fund at least 30% of the surrogacy costs.
