Patient Wellness
CCRM has in-house psychological counselors who offer support services emphasizing both on the mind and body. Our team incorporates the mind/body correlation into their patientsï¼ medical treatment. This allows for an all-inclusive approach to addressing the various aspects of fertility treatment. Our patient wellness services include:Individual and Couples Counseling- many patients come to visit the counselors to explore relaxation techniques. Sometimes, couples are not able to cope similarly. In these cases, one partner may wish to come in separately to discuss relational concerns. Or the couple may want to visit together.Free Infertility Support Groups are divided into two types. One of the groups is designed for patients to talk about the emotional elements of their fertility challenges. The other group is for sperm and egg donor recipients and their respective concerns.Yoga for Fertility- this program focuses on the benefits of incorporating yoga because of its many therapeutic benefits. Patients can help manage stress which comes with fertility challenges by engaging in yoga. We have instructors who are highly experienced in working with patients during all the different phases of IUI and IVF.Acupuncture- CCRM also offers the expertise of licensed acupuncturists to its patients. This is done in combination with embryo transfers during IVF. This therapy is based on research which shows that acupuncture done right before and right after embryo transfer in IVF can improve the prospect of pregnancy. This is because acupuncture helps relax the patient and improve the flow of blood to the uterus.
