I got pregnant so again, based on your report I had to let it run its course. I was implanted with 4 fertilized eggs and 4 implanted. Only one survived a couple weeks into pregnancy and that one miscarried at week 9. We did chromosomal testing and it turned out to have Trisomy 21. My question is: Did the OHSS create the bad eggs or was is this a condition that was going to happen no matter what. I&amp;#39;ve just had my day 8 scan showin...</title><content type='html'>Hi Dr Sher&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ve just had my day 8 scan showing at least 18 follicles or possibly more (I am 38 and no PCOS!).  My FS is very conservative and has decided not to use an Ovidrel trigger, but rather to &amp;quot;shut down&amp;quot; my ovaries with Lucrin in about a week or so before ER.  It sounds like the PC protocol mentioned above, or something along those lines anyway.  I&amp;#39;m just a tiny bit worried about embryo quality, although I do trust him and he is very experienced.  What are your thoughts?
