My Day 3 FSH is 7.0, AMH is 1.7 and antral follicles count is 11. we have male factor. My husband's scsa is 37 %. I am also poor responder as see in the 2 ivfs.

1st IVF failed: I was in long lupron protocol. 6 eggs retrieved. All were immature which after 24 hours got matured. 5 fertilized and we got 3 embryos - 1 grade 1, 1 grade 2 and 1 grade 3. when i talked to embryologist she mentioned the egg quality was good.

2nd IVF - MDL protocol - on 2 week wait. : In the ultrasound i had 7-8 follicles but only 4 eggs retrieved. 3 were mature. only 1 fetilized and I had a day 2 transfer. Embryo was poor quality.

we had also done 6 IUIs before IVF. When only follitism was used I had 4 eggs and when combination of follitsm and menopur was used i got only 2 follicles.

Do you think estrogen priming may help with reduced or no menopur ?

what test is given to determine dimished ovarian reserve. Had 3 failed ivf and the last one with SIRM using estrogen priming protocol. Had immune, nk testing. Told best option egg donor.

The agonist will by ultimately blocking SSH/LH production lead to homone withdrawal...and menstruation will follow.

If the period is delayed inordinately, do a blood pregnancy test and report the result to your RE if positive. There would be sufficient tim eto prevent any problems then.

I am due to start an IVF cycle next month and must have a Lupron (Decapetyle) injection on day 21 of this cycle. I was told to then report to the clinic upon starting my period. I don't undertant how one can have a menstrual cycle if indeed this drug sends a message to the brain to cease all hormonal function. In the off chance that I have conceived this cycle can the medication be harmful to the blastocyst?
