Dr. Sher- thank you so much for the information on TMET. I am a patient of Dr. Schultz, and my cervix has certainly been a "troublemaker" through-out this process. Yesterday was the 6th attempt to complete a fluid U/S, and it was still not successful due to the shape and extensive scarring of my cervix. Following my appointment, she said that she felt a gestational surrogate or TMET are our best chances at this point. She said she was going to try to consult with you on my case. Today has been very rough, trying to deal with everything. I pray that you will have some answers to help us on our journey for having a baby.

Thanks for the affirmation. This is the SIRM "culture", the way (with some variations on the theme) that we conduct IVF. It is not the only way, but after 32 years of developing the aproach (getting to here) it is clearly a "work in progress" but it has stood the test of time!

Thank you so much for your very detailed post. I am hoping to cycle next Spring and am so nervous. Your post helped ease some fears. Although I am still a little nervous about the trial transfer and actual since I had a difficult time with my HSG back in '07.
